I help leaders listen for what matters, get closer to reality, and build from what they learn.

I teach leadership in the Executive MBA and executive education programs at the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University. I also work with the Center for Creative Leadership on AI enabled leadership development.

My research and writing have appeared in the Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review, and leading management journals. My HBR article “Are You Really a Good Listener?” (with Colin Fisher) was named a Top 10 Must-Read Article on Communication.

I developed Listen & Build as a practical approach to helping leaders surface what matters, work through disagreement, and turn insight into action.
